The treatments were amazing, we had the full body exfoliation and back neck and shoulder massage. Highly recommended. The afternoon tea was delicious, and the spa facilities were excellent. The floors however are very slippery around the pool. The only thing that would make me think twice about returning is the fact it’s difficult to sit back and relax when there are children around the pool. This should really me stated at booking
Lovely staff and everything was as expected for a spa, would of been nice to have a glass of sparkle and to have our treatments side by side (as was in different rooms) paid extra for facial which was nice but for what it was it was overpriced, couldn’t fault the staff. Having dinner inc in the package the menu was set 3 course with about 3 options of each.... no steak option unless you paid mega bucks for it. But the food we had was lovely!! Little disappointed in breakfast as bacon was smoked and wasn’t nice and wasn’t very hot. No pancakes or crumpets. Fly’s around the fruit and cold meats. Sauna wasn’t working and at no time was we told... only found out when we walked into the pool itself! Im glad I visited but would choose a different venue next time rather than coming back here...
We arrived late due to traffic delays and so missed my first treatment but they re-scheduled it for later in the day. Had lovely treatments, lunch and relaxation.
Fantastic spa. Lovely and clean. The treatments were very relaxing. All the staff were so kind and helpful. The pool was just the right temperature and quite large. Plenty of lounge chairs to relax on. Food was also excellent. Only gave 4/5 for facilities as the sauna was out of operation (to be repaired soon) but also as there were very few water fountains. I only found one and that was upstairs quite far from the pool.
Overall the stay was pleasant. Check-in was easy and the reception staff (Front desk and at the spa) were lovely. On the morning of our arrival my cousin had a Targeted Back Massage by Isabelle and it wasn't great. My cousin didn't feel like she was having a targeted massage as attention wasn't really given to the problem area and not enough pressure was applied. My cousin and I both had facials by Isabelle, which was quite disappointing as it wasn't even a full 25 minutes. The 40 minute Indian Head massage was ok but I felt that the therapist lacked experience. She didn't use enough oil on my scalp or shoulders and when I asked her if she'll be using oil she said yes. I've had many Indian Head massages and this cannot be called an Indian Head massage. Breakfast and dinner was nice, but there was an unpleasant stuffy smell in the dining room during dinner and we really couldn't make out what it was. Our waiter, Finn, was great and really looked after us during dinner.
