This is our second time visited Imagine Spa Day. However the experience has been dramatically different. The SPA treatment experience was the worst experience but food serve by Hilton T5 was excellent. Why it is bad? 1) When we arrive at the SPA area none of the Imagine staff was there to greet us and introduce us to the individual spa equipment. 2) We were left there to work out the individual spa facilities by ourselves 3) When we went upstairs to the treatment area, we were let by two masseurs and none of them has introduce their name and what they are performing for the day. 4) My husband's treatment which includes deep tissue and hot stone massage however he felt that the masseurs didn't perform the deep tissue sessions as the masseur never put enough pressure. He also felt the hot stone was far too hot when touching the skin where he had previously done by other masseur when applying the hot stone the masseur will try on their hand to get to the right temperature and touch the skin before applying the body. He also felt that the masseur hand was slightly rough and felt like a sand paper was rubbing against his skin. After this experience, I sincerely will NOT recommend ANYONE to try this.
I visited this Spa at the beginning of January with my friend and I have to say it was probably the most relaxing Spa visit I have encountered. Some would call me a fuss pot when trying out Spa's as it is a hobby of mine, but even though the location was not fantastic to get to it was certainly worth the visit and with their offers being so competitive I will certainly return. The facilities were amazing and had a very interesting grotto room which did my winter cold wanders. My friend and I experienced three treatments each and even though we had two different therapists during the day they were both highly professional and friendly, however the deep tissue was slightly painful but they do say '' no pain, no gain''. A thumbs up for this Spa! :-)
Lovely atmosphere, clean and relaxing facilities. I got a presciptive facial done, 3 weeks later my skin is still soft and nourished, would definitely recommend this spa to a friend
I would not reccomend this Spa tyo my friends.
The treatments were ok, one of therapists was not very enthusiatic. Steam room was not working. the salt room was cold and we diidnt know what was suppose to happen.
The lunch was dissapointing, we upgraded our package and paid £53 extra for spa lunch, it turned out not a very nice sandwich, from a very limited menu. Spa had no more matching towels and bought different coloured ones from the back (cream colour) which was very obvious. Not professional at all.
I feel the staff was very rude. They need to realise people that come for Spa day are either celebrating or taken time out for a real relaxing experience. And if they can make an effort to talk in a polite manner that would make guests comfortable. I have been to many spas but this is definitely not on the top.
Went with a friend for a spa day and and booked their hot stone massage. I've been to better spas and wouldn't go back.
The spa was pretty standard; nice but was small and really felt it. The hydrotherapy aspects of the pool were not amazing.
The hot stone massage was an absolute let down and extremely painful. The used about four hot stone massages and focused on the legs. When they did focus on the upper body I feared for my kidneys. The therapist did not seem to think I would need them. I've had several hot stone massages and they can be uncomfortable but I ultimately feel more relaxed for it, this was just utter pain and I barely felt the stones. Ultimately this utterly defeated the purpose of the treatment .
