Really happy with the final cut and colour here however I paid for a salon director and I didn't have a Salon Director. The girl who cut my hair was new and I was her first client at Hebe. Don't pay for a top stylist as they just give you random people.
I had the lovely Gavin who cut my hair. lovely chap to speak to and I love what he did with the layers in my hair. He also spent good amount of time blow drying it and overall did a splendid job. I would love for him to cut my hair again!
Due to my usual hair dresser being on holiday I looked on google and found that Hebe hair ensured quality afro hairdressing. The site claims that the award winning hairdresser Jacqueline Ngalam with many years of experience would be on hand. As a result, I opted to pay the expensive £124 pounds (80 for relaxor + 44 for blowdry) for a relaxer service I usually pay £40 pounds for. I was very disappointed when I arrived to find that Jacqueline was not even there and I had a very young junior stylist who preferred to use a hair pick to blowdry my hair and left me with curly roots as she decided she wasn't going to comb my hair through because I told her my scalp was sensitive. The smart thing to do would be to discuss this with me first and I would have told her my hair always gets combed through and this is what has always given me a great result. I ended up having to get my hair relaxed again with my usual hairstylist when she came back from her holiday. Very deceiving website!
I was very impressed with this salon. I managed to get a late appointment on the day for highlights cut and blow dry which took nearly 3 hours. Salon was very busy but they fitted me in. Great consultation with hairdresser and really happy to have one hairdresser for the whole job and not be moved from one to another. Lovely lady, really friendly with extensive experience. Would definitely use again.
