Small but quiet, sauna too cool, steam room far too hot. Pool pleasant enough, could do with a few extra loungers. As an additional facility in the hotel it was fine.
The room was clean and comfortable with a superking bed and the bathroom was spotless. There is no longer a jacuzzi, but the sauna and steam room were both clean as was the pool.
The main areas of the hotel are very dated and could do with being over hauled. But the evening meal was great and the buffet breakfast was good.
The staff were wonderful, they couldn't have done more of they had tried.
We booked the hotel for a weekend away for my partners birthday, The staff were lovely and friendly, the room was perfect, the bar was bright and comfy.
The dining area was beautiful and the food was amazing!!!!!! The sauna and steam room were lovely , we enjoyed them on the Sunday morning and the pool too. We would love to come back and we would also like to bring the children next time.
Great value for money!
Good overall visit. Only down sides was the dinner on second night ordered steak for me and partner medium and come up well done, sent back and the manager apologised and gave us free drinks while we waited also when we checked out the rest of our bill was wipped, very impressed! I would recommend that the hotel does not advertise hot tub on expedia as this is now covered over, but the rest of the SPA was great. I would recommend in the future.
