So where a hotel is concerned I have three main standards, the bed should be comfortable, I want a hot shower whenever I need to and I want a quiet night's sleep. The beds were large and comfortable and the shower was always hot enough. The hotel is very busy and I because the double glazing is very thin, my sleep was somewhat disturbed by other guests coming and going.

Where a spa is concerned I want a peaceful experience, that was unfortunately not the case. It's a popular quick stop for families so the pool is noisy and busy. Not a relaxing experience. The steam room is good, but you can hear all the noise of children in the pool. Sauna is good, same issue. There is no jacuzzi any longer.

It is important to know that this hotel is on a main road and has good links to the city it is therefore very busy and the double glazing is thin and does not really block the noise out. The hotel is very dated, to give an example the curtains were frayed and needed to be replaced or stitched. The food was great and the break was good value for money! the service is a bit hit and miss for example two nights in a row we needed to ask for our wine glasses to be replaced with clean ones. Staff were friendly and hard working.

It's budget, good if you need a break from your routine, would I stay again if I needed to be in Norwich yes perhaps, but for a spa break no sorry.

Good clean room, good value tasty food, staff helpful. Good pool, sauna and steam room, but no Jacuzzi any more.Quiet rooms at the back. Even though band played there on the Friday night, we didn't hear a thing!

Excellent value stay. £49.50 per person of which £33 was food. You can't argue with £16.50 for the room and the use of the facilities. Steam room and sauna are small but it was fine as there were not loads of people waiting to use them. The pool was nice.

The food was very good indeed. I had roasted lamb rump and my wife had the steak and ale pie which was really nice and large. Dessert was Eton mess which unfortunately was covered in chocolate - my wife loved it I ate it but the chocolate was unnecessary and overpowered the cream and strawberries.

Breakfast was by far the best I have had hat a chain restaurant. Excellent choice of fresh fruit and all the usual stuff.

Was great for the money. Dinner in our room was the highlight. Great food and no extra charge for room service. Only problem we encountered was the jacuzzi is now closed. Said was open on website.

Overall a good stay. Not a spa, has a small gym with good but limited equipment and pool is also small but adequate. Sauna and steam need a refurb and a deep clean. Room was excellent, as was the food breakfast and dinner. Bit out of town too if you wanted to walk anywhere.

The staff were knowledgable, welcoming and hard working. The environment was relaxed and friendly. The food we had while there which was a 3 course dinner and breakfast the next morning was top class and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

We stayed for two nights with meals and breakfast. The room was fine, clean and large enough. The bathroom was functional even thought the shower seemed a little old. The doors were a little chipped and showed aged as did some of the hotel decor, but it was clean the staff were very friendly. For the price I would say it was ok for value with the deal, but maybe not so if the offer was not on.

The leisure facilities were fine. The Jacuzzi was out of order when we went and the lockers are a bit dated, but functional. The pool and gym were great. the sauna was small and the light was not working but they were still usable and very enjoyable, as was the steam room. Considering the price was similar to that of a some of the travel inn etc the leisure facilities were a bonus anyway.

As for the meals the restaurant was nice, food was lovely, although the starters proportions could be a little off (too much pate to too little bread). Note that drinks are not included in the allowance you have for meals. Additionally the seat arrangements varied depending upon pre-booked parties and one night we were forced to site near open windows with very cold AC on us and were not allowed to move when we asked, (although they did shut the window when requested). Thus my advice would be to let them know when you plan to eat. Most times were given a choice of seating so this might have just been a one off occasion. The breakfast was self-service and everything was as expected.

The staff were friendly and considerate, they may not always tell you everything without having to ask like times for dinner, breakfast, use of leisure facilities but they were nice and helpful when needed.

Overall I would stay here again, it may not have been as 'luxury' as some four star hotels, but it was relaxing. Despite it's location on a industrial park, it is close to town (just over 3 miles) so taxis are not too expensive (£6-7) if needed, nearby bus routes. It was comfortable and the leisure facilities were good and not crowded (sometime we had them all to ourselves). Overall this was a very relaxing break and I would stay here again.

The hotel was booked for a shopping trip in Norwich. It was a nice place to stay and relax after a busy day shopping. We used spa area, it was ok but nothing special. Would go back but only using this deal as it is excellent value for money,.

Everything was fantastic only downside was the jacuzzi was broken however I was prewarned when I called in. The dinner was tip top, we had the steak and it was cooked perfectly along with everything else. The staff was friendly and always there to help.

To be honest I was a bit disappointed when I arrived to this hotel. Firstly I needed to know what the surroundings of the hotel was and the woman I spoke to at the reception said nothing. Even if I asked if this hotel was in the middle of a field she said yes, well no, this hotel has the weirdest location in the middle of an industrial place! There is no forest nor fields where you can go for walks. When arriving to our room there were cleaning items and trolleys on both sides of our door. The spa looked like a children indoor swimming pool where families take there children to play. The steam room and sauna did not relax me cause of the noise from the children. Everything in the spa looked like a place from the 70's-80's and it was not the ideal place to take your husband for a romantic spa break celebrating our anniversary - cause it was nothing near romantic. I felt embarrassed to have brought my man to this place. Happily and luckily the food was excellent and the breakfast al right but the rest was disappointing.
