The treatment room itself was clean but tired looking, and the towels on the bed were quite rough and worn, my therapist asked if my massage pressure was ok and I said I’d like it a bit firmer which she did, it wasn’t quite the relaxing experience as she was coughing and spluttering the whole way through, which she did appologise for at the end

We had an enjoyable spa day overall , but the shared changing rooms were awkward - especially as there weren’t many private cubicles , which resulted in our daughters having to change next to the lockers , in a communal space - they felt particularly uncomfortable when men were coming in from the gym or pool. The staff and treatments were great - but I don’t think we will return unless the changing facilities are upgraded .

Really nice hotel and staff, lovely setting and close to Guildford. Spar was good and Gym gave you everything you need for a good workout. So a great place to go for either a nice relaxation or country side break. Will definitely go again.

Overall, I enjoyed the stay- particularly enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. However, I was told upon arrival that our treatment time had been moved from 2:30-3 without advanced notice (not a huge deal, except it cut into our afternoon tea time). The main thing that was a shame was it was also clearly the masseuse's first day as she had no idea where things were in the room, didn't have good technique and just didn't seem that confident which took away from the experience overall.
