This is an event venue not a 4* hotel. The bedrooms were dirty and carpets stained. Some items were broken or missing. The staff seemed in short supply with often no receptionist cover. There is no lift or properly accessible bedrooms (some on the ground floor but there are no rails for showering so falling is a risk and one of our party couldn’t wash her hair for the duration). The reception staff often did not answer the telephone unless dialled from outside, couldn’t/wouldn’t answer queries

We had a lovely time. The spa was lovely and relaxing. It is very clean.
Our room was lovely and exceptionally clean.
The grounds are beautiful, and the view from our room was amazing.
We had afternoon tea and it was very nice.
The hotel and the grounds are well managed and well kept.
The staff were all very helpful and friendly.
Would definitely recommend and I will be returning in the near future.

From start to finish not a pleasant experience. This is not a fpa it's a low budget hotel with next to no staff with a pool and gym . No staff reception staff at all .No female staff all male on hotel reception bar and restraunt no one knew what to do or where to go as the spa was completely unmanned . The changing rooms are unisex with the door wide open and only 3 cubicles disgustingly dirty. My therapist actually massaged me one handed while texting on her phone it went off 4 times AVOID !!!
