Myself and my daughter stayed at the hotel for a night bed and breakfast spa. The hotel grounds and decor was beautiful and stunning. The spa was okay however I’ve never been to a spa where they serve drinks in the pool area and jacuzzi etc . The outdoor pool area was taken over by a group of guests just drinking continuously for over three hours being served numerous cocktails and beers not affording anyone else time to go in there without feeling intimidated. Overall okay
Our stay at Guildford Hall was great value for money. Food was very good as were facilities. Everything could be a bit cleaner and more staff available. We were in the spa all day and never saw any checks to temperatures, cleaning, chemicals etc. in fact in 3 days never saw anyone in the spa. By 3rd day was concerned. Overall very good for money, staff all friendly and helpful.
Great location.
Room was nice and comfy.
Staff were pleasant.
Massage was good and staff were efficient.
Food was food, breakfast options were sufficient and very good quality.
It was a lovely day when we arrived, the pool was very busy outside, and seating/deck loungers were limited.
Room wasn't ready on time, and to wait for 30 minutes for it to be ready - On departure day, we asked if we could use the facilities after check out time of 11am, answer was a straight no.
