Overall I really enjoyed my 2 night stay. Room 36 was comfortable and very clean.
The grounds are extensive and well kept.
Great spa.
I was surprised and disappointed that the restaurant menu in the room was not available on a Sunday. There was nothing to tell me that. The roast belly pork meal was not pleasant at all, with roast potatoes from frozen and really thick gravy from granules.
Unfortunately that put me off going again.

I would never go back. We had issues from start to finish and my complaint wasn’t taken seriously, was told to email, this was sent on 19.04 and I haven’t had a reply.
I would appreciate a response to come to a conclusion.
Afternoon tea was served on a dusty board, drinks were taken off the bill. Kids were jumping in the jacuzzi, running in and out of the steam room/sauna, this was not relaxing. The walls were paper thin and we couldn’t get a good sleep, could hear next door shooting!
