The entrance and downstairs of the building, restaurant and spa are immaculate and beautifully furnished. Staff were not very receptive on arrival, and we were sharply told that check-in was at 3 pm and we had arrived slightly earlier for our massage treatments. On the other hand, we were late for afternoon tea as our treatment times ran over, but they served us and it was lovely. The bedrooms were a bit disappointing. Small, stains on the carpet, shower had grim, and could hear others in rooms!
Swedish Massage
So many issues, I contacted the hotel twice , but no one replied. No gutter above my window and a roof just below it, so I couldn’t sleep with the noise from the rain. Unusually loud gurgling sink, (we couldn’t use it overnight as it gurgled for 2 mins after being used!). Dirty throughout the hotel. The jacuzzi was ‘grainy’, with bits floating in it. We returned our food and the fish was chewy. Asked for an additional pillow 3 times, never got it. Cold in the common areas and the pool was cold.
Couples Massage
Room was cold and dirty and had leaky windows. Steamroom didn't work during our stay. Manager was really rude and unpleasant. The receptionist (Tamara) was also rude and unhelpful, and essentially accused us of lying after something went missing from our room. Other staff members were lovely. The masseuse, Lux, was super friendly and very good at her job.
Unfortunately our stay was ruined by Tamara and the rude, small minded manager. Didnt care at all that we were there for a special occasion

Me and my husband had a deep massage and it was very good and relaxing, especially for my husband who is recovering from stroke.

Deep Tissue Massage
room was a great room with a view but when it rain quite hard water was coming through the window and all they did to resolve it was put towels on the window ledge which after a while was very damp.
Also on our package we had a lunch included which we tried to exchange for part of our evening meal but that did not happen.
