Really lovely experience but same-sex changing rooms were small and very outdated. No plug sockets so you could not plug in hair straighteners or dryer… not fit for for purpose.

Positives - comfortable room, great food and restaurant staff. Excellent Swedish massage + therapists.
Minor issues: there wasn't a great coordination between Spabreaks and the hotel staff e.g. we had robes included but had to ask for them at reception. I had booked a 'small romantic gesture' but had to ask for it and it ended up being prosecco and two small individual truffles - which wasn't great value for money. Our room was also delayed in being ready for the 3pm check-in time.

It's an older building so you can expect some things not to be perfect, but in general great experience, amazing massage!

The therapist was good and pressure was great. I felt the towel I was laying on could have been softer and the oils could have smelled nicer. Otherwise it was a nice experience. The spa itself is a little rough around the edges and could do with an upgrade. There was no conditioner in the showers and there wasn’t anyone manning the spa to ask for a towel.
