Leg waxing was good, definite improvement in Ellie’s technique. The £10 trainee fee is great value for money, and I’d definitely return for this.
However, I was surprised to have a trainee doing my eyebrows without supervision, and to be charged the same as for an experienced therapist. I found Ellie’s method somewhat confusing (waxing whilst the eyelash/eyebrow tint was developing - what if my eyes watered during the treatment/some wax mixed into tint + took off some of my eyebrow).
I opted for a luxury pedicure. It’s advertised as a treatment lasting over an hour. I spoke to someone pre-booking so I knew what to expect which should have included exfoliation, massage, oils etc (none I received) the price tag are high/luxury rates even with a discount for a trainee.
It lasted about 30 minutes. The massage was more of a quick rub in of some cream. I didn’t see use of oils. It was disappointing & not a luxury treatment and shouldn’t be advertised as such or at £.
This was my first brow and lash treatment with Mia, I have seen her in the salon loads and always found her warm and welcoming. Her approach to the treatments was excellent and I am super happy with both.
Ellie did a really good job for my wedding nails. I'm looking forward to coming back and seeing how much she has improved, as I know she was nervous with the pressure (and there are a couple of bubbles in the gel). All In all, she is a great asset to your salon :)
