While my massage was lovely, Fairmount really needs to sort out the noise and timekeeping.
I have been coming for years and it just keeps getting worse. I was kept waiting for 20 minutes before my treatment began, despite the spa being empty. Also, the room I was put in was the very first one, meaning I could hear absolutely everything going on outside - a customer with a noisy child, cleaning etc. Of course people are going to make noise, but the worst part is none of the staff tell them to keep quiet as treatments are in process. Honestly, it makes it totally unrelaxing. Because this ALWAYS happens, I took headphones with me, but I could still hear the child outside as no one bothered to tell him to be quiet - including my therapist! I think in all fairness I'm going to give Fairmount a miss from now on.

My therapist was lovely and did a fab job particularly on the nails and massage. The pedicure stations are raised up with inbuilt foot bath which was great. They gave me a nice lunch from the deli next door. All the equipment was cleaned after use. The steam room was ok but the jacuzzi wasn’t working when I was there.

Excellent value for money,the therapists were friendly and chatty ,treatment's good value,the included champagne was actually Prosecco,the jacuzzi was cold so couldn't be used and apparently will be fixed,the steam room was also still warming up but was OK but perhaps some menthol /scent would have been relaxing to add,however the area was lit with candles as it was a couples or friends day for 2 so looked cosy. The salon itself is functional but could do with a refurbishment as chipped paint etc obvious in some treatment areas. ..overall very good but not luxurious did feel relaxed afterwards and was hard to then sit to have hands and feet done for 2 hours (way too long and wouldn't include myself again) would recommend the package though as such good value and lovely staff .

I come here regularly but my only complaint is that people just come in and out of the room during your treatment. If the door is shut then people shouldn’t come in!
