Highly recommended, the staff were lovely, the place was nice and relaxing, will definately be going back again. I had never been to a spa before, so wasn't too sure what to expect, I found the staff down to earth, helpful and friendly, the hot beds overlook the thames with the O2 just in front. So great views and a very relaxing peaceful atmosphere.
I have been to several SPAs in the past and this experience was far one of the best . I loved that the staff were freindly, accessible and welcoming. Nothing was too much for us.
Shirin was my therapist for the day. I have to say how lovely and professional she was. I went on my own and she made me feel very confident and relaxed. She explained in detail about the treatment, and ensured i was happy throughout the time i was there. The spa was so relaxed clean and the ambience was lovely. I had a great relaxing day. The Moroccan steam cleansing was fantastic. I have already told my friends and i will be back.
Staff great - very nice people! I had very nice day with my sister! Staff makes the spa nice and homey. I loved the hot beds sauna and steam rooms. Staff is great, they would ask if you need anything but they are not too much in your face and would let you enjoy your day! I would highly recomend this spa for hen night or birthday party - some pampering - it would be great to get few friends together and have a nice evening. They have 6 hot beds and 6 terapy rooms. Pick 10 of your best friends and lets have some nice warm time. I would honestly change the colours of the walls to something more lively. I think that if you are stressed from work and you would like a spa day the last think you need is black room - on BBC website http://www.bbc.co.uk/homes/design/period_edwardian.shtml Colour schemes - choose pastel colour schemes in the colours of flowers - primrose yellows, leaf greens, the lilac of wisteria, and grey. Living rooms can take darker colours such as dark green for fabrics and cream walls. I am not an inetrior designer but they should find one that is good and do something with it! Some paintings would make a difference.
We enjoyed our little pampering day at the East River Spa very much. The spa is beautiful, the facilities modern and clean and the staff were very friendly. The private steam room and the relaxation room are amazing and there was also a basic gym that we could usebefore our treatment. Shampoo/body wash and conditioner were provided as well as bath robes, towels, slippers, moisturiser, complimentary tea, water, sorbet and fruit. The only downside was that we felt a bit rushed through our treatment, it's supposed to last 45 min but felt much shorter. A very nice and relaxing overall experience though! Some of my friends have already booked this treatment after my recommendation.
