My Brazilian Blowdry was quite an experience, I've had it done before but don't remember it being quite so painful! Joe the owner carried out my treatment and whilst professional I did feel he was a bit too rough. I had to tell him twice the temperature of the water was too hot when he was washing my hair, normally it's the most pleasant part of any hair treatment but really hot water on your scalp on a hot day is not fun. As soon as the chemicals were applied I felt my eyes stinging and it was quite uncomfortable, I was reassured by Joe this was common and it would be worse when he blow dried my hair, which it was! The hairdryer was really hot and it felt like it was burning my scalp as he pulled at my hair with a round bristle brush. It really wasn't a pleasant experience and I had a headache when I left although Joe did give me an umbrella as it was raining and I can't get my hair wet for 3 days. Overall I'm pleased with how my hair looks and it was the cheapest price I found but a Brazilian Blowdry is not for the faint hearted!
Great experience at Colour My Life. Good attention, plenty of discussion as to what was needed. Marco was helpful and careful. I've just booked with them again, and hoping that he will be able to do my colour next time!
Cara did a great job on my highlights, cut and blow-dry. I'm always very apprehensive about trying new salons and hairdressers, but she was great, did exactly what I wanted. Although the salon isn't quite as glamourous as say, a Toni & Guy, it was lovely, very clean, extremely friendly and I was 100% happy with the service. Really great value and everyone has said how amazing my hair looks. I would recommend them very highly.
