I never ever complain and rarely ever write reviews but I had to write this after my recent visit.I've been comitng to this salon for almost 2 years. I used to always see Kerry who was great, but now she has left the salon. This used to be a great salon but in the last 6-8 months approx the place and staff has really started to go down hill. There has almost been a complete turn over of staff and the customer service is shocking! Recently I went in for a cut (I usually do a full head of highlights) I was left standing for over 5 minutes with no acknowledgement, smile or anything and I could see there were a few others there like me. the hairdressers English and understanding of English was shocking!! How are they supposed to know what I want if they can't understand what saying? Everything I said, they did the opposite and in the end got quite bitchy with me! The service I had booked was supposed to include a keratin hair treatment which my hair desperately needed and the hairdresser wouldn't do it for me even though I asked twice for it. The cut was just ok but it was only a trim anyway, I was just glad they didn't end up cutting too much as they couldn't understand what I was asking for. The blow dry was a painful experience! So much pulling and tugging and breaking of hair, not to mention the hairdresser leaving at least 5 times in the middle of it! During this time however I happened to notice another employee take a tangle teaser from the station I was at which was FULL of my hair (I shed a lot) and start to use it on someone else without removing the hair. I thought this was shocking! During the last few months since I've stopped seeing Kerry the standard and customer service I've recieved has been shocking! I work in the beauty industry so I know how important it is to value your clients and in this place now they far from do that! It seems they don't care that I've been Loyal and don't if I ever come back!During my last few visits I've noticed the standard drop and drop but this experience is enough to make me take my money elsewhere and I'd definitely advise you to aswell!
Marco did a great job on the colour but it was very busy and he was also seeing to 4/5 other clients at the same time which meant he didn't do the cut and blow dry. Overall it was a good expereince and great value for money but you need to go in knowing what you want as they seem relucant to advise. I would recommend though as it's a bargain!
Nice clean salon. Fairly quiet at the time I went in the mid afternoon on a weekday. I had a good cut and colour. Some greys weren't covered but overall it was a good experience.
Great value for money. I think they may have booked a few too many people in as the girl who did my highlights was unable to do my cut as she hadn't finished with another client. It meant that I was there about an hour longer than usual. However it's such good value that I can't complain!
