I think it was just a bad day for this hairdresser. They were short staffed so Stefan had to do many jobs at the same time.
However, my experience was that I didn't feel valued as a customer. I was left waiting for some time after my scheduled appointment and wasn't even offered a cup of tea and Stefan was regularly answering the phone or speaking to others during my haircut.
I was also overcharged by £6. By that I mean Treatwell confirmed the price at £30 when I booked. But Stefan insisted he charged me £36 as that is what he always charges. I'm afraid I was too tired to put up much resistance. But it did leave me thinking that I had been fleeced.

I've been a member at Chez Stephan for three years now and wouldn't go anywhere else for my cut and balyage. The results are always really natural. I love the atmosphere and staff - it's truly worth every penny

At the moment my favourite hair salon. I do hope it stays that way.
Overall great service. I have encountered rudeness here but at the moment the staff are very nice. looking forward to my visit tomorrow with the lovely Coralie.
