I went for a wash, cut and blowdry and unfortunately my only positive was that I didn’t have to wait for my appointment. The salon itself is tiny and a bit worse for wear - it definitely didn’t scream cleanliness at me when I walked in. The staff seemed friendly, but unfortunately (I believe this was because of a language barrier) there wasn’t the usual chatty conversation that we’ve all come to expect when we go to a salon and my stylist barely spoke three words to me during the whole 45 minute appointment. And as for my treatment, while the wash and blowdry were ok, I was very unhappy with my haircut as it was extremely choppy and uneven. It’s a shame, but I definitely won’t be going back again.
Sofia is a super friendly therapist who gave me a fantastic pedicure which has lasted almost a month despite running almost everyday while training for my marathon - needless to say it’s also held my toenails together and stopped them falling off ;-) Cher is also so chatty, outgoing, lovely and a very talented hairdresser. She gives me a stylish short haircut which grows out in a very chic shape too and this time it wasn’t any exception either. Going to get my haircut from her is like visiting a mate - feat banter always :-) All the therapists are welcoming and friendly. Will be back again, thanks ladies!
I highly recommend the shellac manicure at Cher’s. I can now say it lasted 3 full weeks! Maria is very attentive and lovely to talk to. I’m very pleased with my manicure and I’ll be coming back!
