You get what you pay for. My hair is badly damaged from the chemicals used on my hair. Must be a very cheap product. When I got home my housemate told me a strong odour of chemicals came from my hair so it clearly shows the poor quality product used. My hair is extremely frizzy after the treatment due to being so damaged.
I picked this salon for a haircut because of the very reasonable price, and I suppose it would be fair to say that the service provided was proportionate to what I paid. I arrived a few minutes early to my pre-booked appointment, to be told I would need to wait a little while before being seen - something which of course was fine. However, almost 45 minutes later I still hadn't been seen, which was made even more frustrating by the fact that there were staff members literally sitting in the middle of the salon doing their own nails rather than dealing with customers. When I finally was seen (after complaining), the woman who dealt with me was apologetic and nice but the haircut itself was pretty average. Despite clearly saying that I just wanted a trim of a consistent length, I've ended up with very short parts at the front near my face that I simply didn't ask for. In addition, although I had booked and paid for a cut and blow dry, the woman then said "you don't need a blow dry, just a rough dry, right?". On top of all of this, the salon itself has a slightly odd ambience with no decoration or music, only the sound of the staff members talking loudly to each other in a foreign language, which is rather unnerving in itself. All in all, I would probably recommend to potential customers to pay a bit extra and go elsewhere.
