Lovely quiet time to enjoy being pampered, very friendly member of staff also made it a pleasant experience. I chose a pale colour, and now notice that the coats of colour have been applied just slightly unevenly when looking more closely at the base of my nails but otherwise I am very happy with the result.

Treatwell rearranged the timing of my prepaid appointment and I didn’t know before I arrived. Champneys handled this amazingly. Treatwell should not charge and then rearrange the timing! Very poor from treatwell, Champneys managed to fit me in anyway.

I booked the night before using Treatwell. I had confirmation by text and email of my chosen appointment time, 11:30. I arrived on time and told reception I was there for an 11:30 appointment and told to take a seat. 20 minutes later I asked if there was a problem and was told my appointment was 12 noon. It's a busy time with Christmas shopping to do and I was then offered a hot drink to wait, there must have been a mistake with the Treatwell booking. My therapist came to get me at 12:10. These things happen, but I should have been told on arrival, as I mentioned my appointment time. I could have easily gone off to do some errands and returned. Secondly, after the mistake was identified, if the therapist was running late, I again could have been invited to leave and come back for the expected time. I booked the appointment as a quick treat whilst getting Christmas shopping done, but then had to waste nearly 45 minutes waiting for a 25 minute treatment. However, my therapist was excellent and this was not her fault at all. The hot stones were indeed worth the wait.

If you are going to book 9am appointments, make sure you open 5 mins before 9! Don’t leave customers waiting outside! Invite them in to wait if you aren’t ready! Massage itself was excellent.
