Do not go to this spa. The changing rooms were dirty and littered. The lockers had rubbish in them and dirty. The sink had hairs all over and the toilet had black marks in the bowl, yeuk. The Swedish massage was good. My manicure was done with gloopy nail varnish, old, and didn’t last. Afternoon tea was ok. My daughter missed her manicure because our bookings were changed so many times. Spoke to the manager and she assured me I would get my money back. So disappointed and upset,
The venue has no disabled access to spa. There was a lift but not working. The attitude of the receptionist was close to rude. One of our party needed some feminine products was told they don't have any machines and she would have to go to local shops. Only 2 changing rooms , only 1 locked. The toilets were dirty. Also tables in lounge needed a clean. Our waiter at lunch was lovely so to our therapist. I will not be going back again. Certainly did not feel like a 4 star hotel.
The staff, treatment therapists and the restaurant were great, very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we did find the downstairs spa area very small and cramped especially the ladies changing rooms. Probably due for some renovations. The pool upstairs is under a domed glass roof so area was very hot. Pool is lovely but in need of retiling in places and there are not enough sun beds around the pool. My daughter booked the spa day as a birthday present to me and was disappointed with quality.
