I booked an "Unwind spa day" for my husband's birthday. From making the initial telephone call to leaving the spa at the end of the day, everything was excellent. All the staff we spoke to / saw were very professional, helpful and friendly.
Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and offered a tea / coffee while we filled in some form for our treatment and decided what we wanted for lunch. We were then escorted around the facilities to show us where everything was then left to relax.
Everything was clean and all facilities were excellent. We visited mid week out of the holiday season and found it be be nice and quiet with only about 6 people using the facilities at any given time.
After a couple of hours using the facilities were went back upstairs for lunch. You can stay in your robes and slippers for this if you wish. We were greeted warmly and shown to a table. Upon sitting down we each has a lovely glass of champagne and after a short wait our food arrived. We opted for a two course lunch, but afternoon tea is also available if you prefer. All the food we ordered was delicious. It was all very fresh and portion sizes were decent. I can highly recommend the tuna steak which was cooked to perfection.
After lunch we went back down to the spa for a while before having our 50min treatment, also included in the price. We had our treatments in a room together which was nice. The whole experience was very relaxing and we really didn't want to get up afterwards!
Overall a brilliant experience and in my opinion worth every penny! We will definitely be returning! Thank you so much to all the staff who made this the perfect, relaxing birthday for my husband!

Overall, very relaxing day. Would have liked more treatments but therapists busy. Some parts of building/decor look new whilst others are in process of renovation or tired looking. Seems daft to have ladies toilets separate from changing room.Loads of gym equipment (too much?) and not enough space for relaxing.
