Went in for a perm as I thought the place looked good and I’m a bit wary about where I get mine done as many places will do one only for it to fall out a couple weeks later. Good service and nice staff, but repeatedly asked if I’d be able to get a refund if the perm didn’t take properly and was assured I’d be able to get my money back if it didn’t work, and was told I’d be able to get a refund if so, repeatedly.
Imagine my shock about a month later when my perm has gone entirely straight and I try and phone up for a refund and I’m told that no refunds are offered by the shop at all, and the best they can do is redoing the perm when the person who does them gets back from holiday. This is of zero used to me as someone who doesn’t live in Nottingham full time and has access to an actually competent hairdresser at their other address.
Totally unacceptable, not only was I lied to about the refund policy, but the quality of perm was substandard (didn’t last anywhere near long enough) - shop don’t really seem to care as they’ve had near £100 off me for a waste of time and don’t seem to have any intention of giving it back.

After years my hairdresser has left. I have short curly hair from going to super long to super short. My old hairdresser cut and taught me to style my short hair and I was a bit nervous to have a new hair dresser. I cannot sing Abbey's praises enough. She listened to me try and explain what my old hair dresser used to do. Not only did she repeat it, she made my hair look incredible. She knew EXACTLY how to style naturally curly hair and it was a wonderful experience. I love the haircut I walked away with and I cannot thank this new hair stylist enough. Thank you for everything.
I highly recommend a visit to Bliss. My impromtu appointment and a restyle was totally fantastic!! Ben is a fantastic stylist and I highly recommend a visit to Ben for a consultation with a very personable, experienced and skilled artisan. Meeting Miss Beryl pooch was a total bonus too, thank you!

I went in yesterday to be a model for a trainee stylist and had the best experience! I felt so welcomed and comfortable the entire time. My stylist was lovely and so was the supervising stylist! I definitely don’t have the easiest hair to deal with, it’s very thick and naturally wavy and was so blocky after growing out a pixie cut for 8 months but i was soo happy with the end result! I still can’t believe I got such an amazing hair cut for free! I would definitely recommend this salon, especially on training days as they say they struggle to get models in for free haircuts. I will definitely be going back! 🥰
