Emily at Bliss Hairdressers was absolutely brilliant with me. I was rather nervous about getting my long hair cut and had actually avoided it for over 7 years due to my nerves and some negative past experiences elsewhere. Emily really listened to my concerns and took on board exactly what I wanted doing and she even managed to make me feel relaxed! She took the time to talk through what she was doing and she was very gentle with me. She was also extremely careful of my new ear piercing being sure not to catch it at all. I left feeling extremely satisfied with my beautiful new haircut and my soft, shiny hair. What previously has been something very difficult for me, Emily managed to make into an enjoyable and relaxing experience. I couldn't recommend her and Bliss hairdressing enough! Thank you so much Emily, I look forward to the next haircut by you!
natasha did a really love job with my hair :)) i’m usually really anxious about hair cuts, i like my hair a certain way and im not great with communicating that, but she was really good with me. left me feeling super good ready for a festival the next day
Been here a few times after never stepping foot in a salon, I have never felt more welcomed! Natasha who is my regular hairdresser is so lovely and makes a killer curly blow dry! I had summer today as Natasha was poorly and she was such a sweet heart, honestly such amazing ladies that work here. Thank you!
I went to a different salon first and they said they wouldn’t bleach correct my hair saying it was unable to be fixed and I would have to dye it dark. I went to bliss and they booked me in and did exactly what I was wanting without damaging my hair. I am so thrilled and I will be staying at bliss from now on. EDIT. I originally went to Natasha at bliss and had an amazing experience there for a year and really liked going to Natasha. However, when I booked in again Natasha didn’t seem to work there anymore, so I chose a new stylist. I asked what happened to Natasha and was told she didn’t work there any more and my stylist seemed annoyed I asked. I asked for a shag haircut and a choppy fringe and brought in many pictures and videos of what I liked. Instead of following the photos and what I asked for I was given a blunt straight fringe with long layers. When I asked for more of a shag style my stylist said that the layers would look disconnected and at that point I didn’t trust her to fix it as it was already so badly done.. Not only is it not what I wanted or even remotely close to what I asked for but some of my previous fringe was even missed and it looks horrible.. The fringe is uneven and the stylist said its because my eyebrows are uneven? It looks nothing like what I wanted and the stylist didn’t seem to care that I didn’t like it.. In an attempt to see where Natasha went after such a horrible experience with the new stylist, I messaged the salon on instagram to nicely ask if they could tell me where she went and they immediately BLOCKED ME. I am shocked and so disappointed as I previously loved this salon. I am so mad about the whole experience. I can’t believe they treat customers like this.
After having tried 3 other salons in Nottingham since moving here 7 years ago (and cutting my own hair during the pandemic 🤦🏽‍♀️) and either not having the cut/style I wanted or feeling comfortable, I very nervously booked with Bliss as another new salon to try, as I desperately needed my hair cut! I needed a salon that was good with cutting short hair as most only seem to cater for long locks, and Bliss came up in my Google search. The booking process was easy and quick and emails confirmed deposit and booking of appointment! I was 15 minutes early, driving there early to avoid being late for my appointment, and I was literally shaking walking to the salon from the car park. I do not know what I was worried about, as soon as I walked in I couldn’t feel more welcome as a new customer, I had my coat taken, offered a drink, waited for Natasha to finish her previous client. The atmosphere was warm, festive and friendly! Natasha was AMAZING, went through how she was going to cut my hair, and what was best, after I showed her a picture of what I wanted!! All the girls were really friendly and welcoming!! I couldn’t have been happier with my cut and all the advice Natasha gave me!! I left feeling full of confidence again, and for the first time didn’t want to leave a salon and rush home to sort my hair out myself!!! I looked and felt a million dollars and booked my next appointment before I left. I can’t thank Natasha and the Bliss girls enough 🙏🏽 you gave me my confidence back!
