When I first entered the salon I was greeted my the most loveliest lady who I believe is the owner, we had such a lovely chat and she made me feel really welcomed. However when it came to getting my hair done this was a different story. What I thought would be a consultation of my chosen hair colour was in fact me sat in the hair salon chair and as I began to express my hair desires I got a rude “LIKE” and point to my phone in a very harsh manner. This left me feeling very very on edge and uncertain as to what was actually going on with my hair as the dye was being applied. This was done in a very messy manner however wanted to give the benefit of the doubt having heard wonderful things about hair dresser Rachel! Following this the lovely owner kept popping to me to see how it was going and suggested to Rachel that she curled my hair to which Rachel pulled a face which i could see in the mirror and the owner had to convince her into curling my hair for me. Once again this left me feeling very uncomfortable and was not the standard of service or experience or attitude form a hairdresser I would expect in a salon which in total charged me £114 for a hair cut. I was charged far more than expected due to the “thickness” of my hair only to then have several inches chopped off into a Bob which was an absolute mistake and had not asked for it to be this short and I couldn’t believe this had been done after changing me so much for my “length” and “thickness” but I left with nothing of the such. Surely my hair should have been cut short and then dyed. My hair turned out a lovely
Brown colour and was in the cut of a very short bob ( I went in with hair than was below shoulder) but was absolutely not worthOn the way home I called my mum in tears as I felt totally ripped off and was hoping for a lovely feel good experience. I did not get a lovely experience nor did I leave feeling good about myself. I left feeling ripped off and upset. I will not be returning to the salon for further appointments as for the price I was changed I would have expected far more. The owner of the salon whom name I did not catch was lovely
It was such a shame the salon couldn’t have been as lovely as her.
