I had a hot wax done and the lady took care and made sure to keep asking if I was okay and not in pain. Its quite hard to find places that offer hot wax - I find strip wax doesn't agree with my skin so I would go back again.

Sandy cancelled my appointment 3 hours before and I still don't know why (I booked 3 days before)...No compensation for anything (I booked a nanny to manage my children)...Simply unacceptable.
Waxing is never hugely pleasant, but when done quickly, with an experienced beautician, and with a good quality wax it's less unpleasant than usual! Sandy had all these things and I'll definitely be back.

Went to Beauty by Sandy in Richmond on Friday for a Hollywood Wax. Not only was it the most expensive appointment I've ever had but they didn't use any baby powder or drying agent before applying the wax and therefore have ripped the entire top layer of skin off and made me bleed. It is incredibly painful and embarrassing. I don't know how to contact the salon directly but this is a serious issue that needs to be addressed, especially when it's such a sensitive area. Steph.
