Excellent value for money. We really enjoyed our time. The following were not an issue and if addressed would feel more like a 5* experience: 1) Treatments were lovely but were meant to be for an hour and only lasted 45 mins; 2) initial welcome at spa was frosty, I imagine would be been intimidating if one hadn’t experienced a spa day before; 3) floor under treatment beds needed cleaning despite being what you look at whilst having a massage!; 4) restaurant overly lit detracting from ambience

My experience at the Athenaeum Spa was calm, restorative, and genuinely worth the visit. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt peaceful and unhurried, making it easy to switch off from the outside world. The staff were warm, professional, and took the time to explain each step of the treatment, which immediately put me at ease I chose the back and shoulder massage,body wrap, and it turned out to be an excellent combination. Excellent service and very professional staff. The best spa I've ever been to! Everything was perfect the atmosphere, the service and the tranquility. The massage was exactly what I needed after a busy week. I will definitely come back again!

Very Relaxing. Staff are all friendly and professional. Very clean - spotless. I have been a few times and will continue coming back. The therapists are always great. This time the therapist was slightly more attentive to detail. The food afterwards was excellent.
