Overall a great experience. One of the tubs was not as warm as the other but that may have been by design. My friend liked his massage so I think it was just my therapist. I like a very deep massage so if that's not your thing, you'll probably like the massage just fine.
The facilities were more limited than I expected - no swimming pool - but were good. The changing rooms were small - if more than one person was in there at a time it was cosy. The staff were pleasant and professional. The treatments were lovely, no complaints there.
I booked this spa day for our Anniversary. The location of the hotel is very central and this is what attracted us to it, the facilities are good , and we went during the week so we pretty much had the facilities to our self. We had some welcome drinks which was nice, we enjoyed the treatments but not sure if the treatments were an 1 hour long as I had timed it (there were no clocks in the room as the therapists were not wearing and watches. Upon arrival, we were asked what treatments would we like to have and shown to the changing rooms. After we got changed we were not really directed to the lounge we had to ask where do we need to go. before the treatments we are meant to sign a form that would identify any allergies, I had to remind the therapist that we have not signed this form and completed them in the therapy bed. Also whilst we were using the spa facilities the maintenance guys walked in which i didn't feel comfortable about. In the lounge the staff were practicing manicures. The changing rooms were pretty clean when we got there but when checking out they were full of towels on the floor and given the limited space it was quite tough to get around. We did get a nice bath robe and slippers. All in all the experience was OK its good value for money and a clean venue, but i would spend a little bit more to get a better service .
