The whole experience was poor from start to finish, unfortunately. The lady doing my acrylics couldn’t speak English and started removing my acrylics, even though I had asked for infills and showed my confirmation booking from Treatwell. She shouted over the salon in another language to her colleague who shouted over to me and said “What you want then?” I replied and said acrylic infills and she proceeded to shout to her colleague. This left the customers in there staring at me which was really embarrassing! My nails were done, not filed at all leaving pieces of acrylic all over my nail beds, skin and hanging unevenly off the end of my nail. I had to go elsewhere to have them finished. The lady painted my nails, I asked for pink, as she didn’t understand me, I ended up with purple polish despite me pointing at the colour I wanted. I paid via Treatwell and they demanded payment upon my exit, even when I showed my confirmation email to prove this. Customers were spoken to quite rudely when coming in the salon to ask about appointments, 2 were turned away and then the staff laughed about it afterwards. Unprofessional and bad service.
The prices are not bad and the treatments are good. It’s a bit rough around the edges (e.g. cd kept jumping during massage, the floors are old office type floors and the rooms are a bit cold) but job well done.
When I arrived they didn't have my booking - I think this is a problem with Treatwell not Angel Beauty Parlour. However because I had already paid they managed to fit me in, despite being understaffed. The actual wax was a bit rushed, but otherwise good. The staff were friendly.
