Meet Ankita Desai BSc, M.Ost, GOsC - Osteopath! Ankita graduated from the British School of Osteopathy with a Master’s and has been a registered Osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council since 2016. After graduation, she promoted Osteopathy as a complementary medicine in India. She ran her own clinic in Mumbai and worked in an elite sports orthopaedic hospital for 2 and a half years, and mentored 5th year Osteopathy students from Australia who interned in the hospital. She is passionate about allowing patients to improve, through osteopathy, movement and rehab and promote self-management for all her patients. Ankita has done a course in dry needling, Pilates and an obstetrics course and many pregnancy CPD courses. She enjoys working with patients of all ages, with a special interest in sports injuries, neck and back conditions, knee pain, pregnancy, and postpartum care.

Meet Dorothy Szamrowicz MSc, GOsC - Osteopath! Dorothy’s professional journey is a testament to her unwavering commitment to the field of healthcare, with a unique blend of qualifications that set her apart. Her academic accomplishments began in 2008 when she graduated as a Physiotherapist in Poland. This marked the initial step in her healthcare career, where she dedicated herself to helping individuals recover from physical ailments. Working in a Physiotherapy centre provided her with a solid foundation, and as a self-employed Physiotherapist and Manual Therapist, she continued developing her personalised approach to patient care. In 2013, Dorothy’s dedication to the healthcare field expanded further when she graduated as a Paramedic in Poland. Her knowledge and skills in emergency medical care added a new dimension to her abilities, showcasing her readiness to assist in critical situations. In 2023, Dorothy achieved another significant milestone by graduating from the University College of Osteopathy, formerly known as the British School of Osteopathy, with an MSc in Osteopathy. This advanced degree solidified her expertise in Osteopathic care, enriching her toolkit for patient treatment. During her treatments she offers Therapeutic Utrasound, Dry Needling and/or Electro-Dry Needling, where she uses an electric current to relax / ease the painful area. To enable me to help support my clients as best as I can - Over the years I have trained as a Nutritionist, a Mental health First Aider, a Pilates Instructor and trained in Yoga (including breathwork, mindfulness and teaching both children and adults). Xin has undergone extensive education and training, beginning with her studies at Dalian Medicinal College in China, followed by specialized education at the TCM Beijing University of International Acupuncture Academy Training Centre. She holds a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Middlesex University, UK. Meet Beckie Shaw CNHC, CThA, ITEC - Holistic and Massage Therapist, RMTI Consultant, Nutritionist, Reiki Master and Teacher! Beckie is a member of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and the Complementary Therapist Association (CThA). Originally qualifying as a Holistic Massage Therapist with ITEC in 2005, she then went on to specialise in other areas of soft tissue release, including Myofascial Release and Trigger Point Therapy to help alleviate pain, mobility issues and muscle related problems. Techniques that are invaluable when it comes to releasing long held postural habits and adhesions caused by many years of incorrect use. *Pressure can be adapted according to each client’s needs and preferences. As well as problems caused by RSI, injury or accident, it became evident to her that many peoples’ discomfort and poor posture was caused by their body’s lack of ability and understanding of how to stand upright and move correctly as well as, at times, emotional stress being held in the body. In 2019 Beckie began her training with Rhythmic Movement Training International (rmti) as a Rhythmic Movement Consultant, specialising in Primitive and Postural Reflex Integration. The method uses innate Rhythmic Movements to help integrate the Primitive Reflexes necessary to establish good connectivity in the brain and postural control. All of the above can be supported with nutritional advice if required. Beckie has an ITEC Level 3 Nutritional qualification which enables her to help you with some specialist diets and provide nutritional advice - including vitamins and supplements, as well as diet plans with regards to general health and well-being.
