hair colour mousey/dirty blonde, bleached to white/platinum, now fancy a change poss reds. advice?

Hair has been bleached white/platinum at a quality salon for past 2 years but now fancy something different and grown dissapointed with salon due to cost and service. Was born with red hair and turned white blonde but got darker as older to dirty blonde. Dirty blonde roots now through but the length is still white blonde and thought about a change to possible red but unsure of wot colour will suit and money is very tight. Do not want something like my natural colour. Feel if im going to leave the platinum it has to be for something wow.
