Welcome to Human Balance, Glasgow, led by Kamila, who has been practising massages since 2017. With City of Glasgow college qualifications in Swedish massage, aromatherapy, hot stone massage, bamboo stick massage, Indian head massage, Thai herbal compresses and facial techniques. Kamila obtained qualifications in deep tissue massage and reflexology in Poland in 2019; she completed the sports and remedial massage course in 2022 in Glasgow. Looking back, the path of her education was long and winding, requiring commitment, organization, sacrifices and faith in success. Work, study and personal development combined with family life is a big challenge, although achieving goals motivates her and stimulates her to act. She always had a passion and interest in complementary therapies. She believes that of the most rewarding aspects of being a complementary massage therapist is the ability to connect with clients on a personal level. By listening attentively to their needs and concerns, therapists create a safe and trusting environment where clients can relax. Working with people gives her a lot of satisfaction and brings experience. Each patient struggles with a different problem, Often physical pain also has a psychological basis. Therefore, she believes that each patient should be treated with empathy, understanding and care. Kamila experienced the benefits of reflexology as a child, and in adult life, after the first session, they decided to learn the secrets of this extraordinary therapy and completed the course. Reflexology is one of the most popular types of massage. Beyond the feel-good effects of the treatment, the practice and purpose go deeper than the skin and muscles. Another specialised complementary therapy massage is aromatherapy which uses naturally extracted aromatic essences from plants, flowers, fruits, leaves and seeds to balance and harmonise the body at all levels – physical, emotional and spiritual. Essential oils are specially prepared to suit the client’s profile and needs and massaged into the body. They have also personally experienced the wonderful benefits of essential oils. The main goal they strive for every day as a complementary therapist is to improve people's health and well-being.
