My studio is located in the Bruntsfield area of Edinburgh close to the city centre. My treatment studio is within a main door shop front premesis shared with Sam’s Barbers shop. I am an owner managed business and take great pride in providing the very best experience for my clients. The studio is open Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm. I take advance bookings only. Located in Edinburgh , Kama Calm Holistic Therapies was set up by Kamila Banaszewska in 2012, with the aim of providing a wide range of effective, but low cost, holistic therapies.

Kamila believes in a holistic approach to health, where the body, mind and spirit are connected and constantly influence each other. Kamila has been trained in various alternative therapies in various accredited institutions in the UK and in Poland. In 2010 she completed the VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Complementary Therapies, in 2012 she obtained the VTCT Certificate in Indian Head massage and also gained training in Ayurvedic treatments. She graduated with an Honours degree in Complementary Healthcare in Aromatherapy from Edinburgh's Napier University. Kamila is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapies and also insured through them.

Predominantly using techniques such as myofascial release and craniosacral therapy, she helps clients with pain relief, injury rehabilitation, symptom management for chronic conditions, stress relief, and nervous system dysregulation. Elizabeth has a genuine desire to help others achieve optimum holistic health and does so by providing a calm, clean, and safe environment for her clients to feel at ease.

Accessibility

The venue has a buzzer system to enter that is about 5 feet high. There are no stairs to enter the building and the treatment room is less than 10 feet from the front door. Unfortunately, the toilets are in the basement. The massage therapist uses unscented products for sensory-sensitive people and nut-free products to avoid allergic reactions.
