Douglas’s massage (originally Swedish based) can be described as nourishing holistic massage and bodywork in that it intrinsically encompasses elements of all the approaches he works with. With a wholly person-centred approach, Douglas encourages working in a way in which your session can be tailored to suit your needs on the day and can be changed at any time. Getting There:

• Belgrave Business Centre is located at 45 Frederick Street, EH2 1EP, next to Rosa's Thai Restaurant. You will see a sign for Douglas Caird Intuitive Holistic Therapy on the wall to the right of the doorway. Ignore the entrance buzzers at the door and come straight upstairs to the second (top) floor. There are signposts on the way up to guide you. At the top level, enter the first doorway and press buzzer 1.7 adjacent to the inner door. If you forget the buzzer number, there is a large poster on the wall to guide you. I will come out and meet you.
• There is no reception or receptionist at the business centre. Please arrive as close to your appointment time as possible. Should you arrive too early, I may be with someone or out of the building and unable to let you in.
• If someone is accompanying you, they will be unable to stay within the business centre to wait for you. Although there are chairs in the hallway, they are solely for your use whilst waiting for your session.
• There are 2 flights of stairs to climb and a further flight of stairs inside, should you wish to use the toilet.
• I would advise allowing an extra 15 mins. onto the length of your appointment for flexibility. It would also be useful to know if you need to be finished by a definite time, for example, if you are on a parking meter, or need to be back at work, etc.
