Practising medicine since 1985 Doctor JD began her career focusing on General Medicine and Gynaecology. Her extensive professional knowledge was instantly recognised when, in 1998, she was offered a seat on a famous regional radio chat show where her audience could call in weekly with medical-related queries.
As part of her commitment to giving back, she established a programme in her clinic for women who lacked the capacity or financial means to seek medical care. Dr JD was the sole funder and administrator of the women's health clinic, which provided a variety of essential services to those in most need.
Being an ardent reader, she published her first book in 2018 after writing as a hobby for several years. It would be the start of a new chapter in her life since she is currently in the midst of producing three additional publications by 2026.
Dr JD chose to transfer into the field of Medical Aesthetics in the early 2000s after becoming increasingly alarmed by the prevalence of substandard and dangerous procedures.
