Maria's passion lies in blending Eastern and Western methods. She has received training at the London School of Massage and various Ayurvedic institutions in the UK and Kerala. Her qualifications include Remedial-deep tissue, Holistic, Pregnancy, and Ayurvedic massage. Additionally, she is an Advanced Oxygen Advantage® Breathwork Instructor, RYT +700 yoga teacher, certified Ayurvedic Practitioner DAPC, and holds a B.Sc. in Psychology.

During your first session, a consultation form will need to be completed. If you have any major Health concerns, please get in touch in advance. If you need to cancel your reservation, kindly do so as far in advance as possible. If you need to reschedule for a different time on the same day, please get in touch, and I will do my best to accommodate you if there are any available slots. Here are some tips for preparing before your session: Talk to your therapist about your specific needs and any medical conditions.
Avoid heavy meals right before the massage.
Drink water to stay hydrated.
Wear comfortable clothing and remove jewellery.
Shower before your appointment to stay clean.
Let the therapist know your preferences for pressure and temperature.
Take your time getting up after the massage.
Follow any aftercare recommendations from your therapist.

Run by Yoko Ohara (registered member of the British Acupuncture Council), Oriental Holistic at Neal's Yard Remedies provides a range of therapies (Japanese acupuncture, facial acupuncture, Shiatsu, Swedish massage, Thai yoga massage, facial rejuvenation).

The beauty of acupuncture originates from its holistic nature: it aims to treat a whole person, both mind and body rather than just a symptom. Yoko’s style is interactive, intuitive and hands-on: it’s a style based on traditional Chinese medicine but modernized by Japanese masters, K. Nagano and K. Matsumoto.
