As soon as I stepped in the hairdresser was ok but referred me to the owner to confirm payment for the wash, cut and blow dry via Wahanda. I am a frequent user of Wahanda and have never had any confirmation problems before. All other salons have been absolutely amazing. I showed her the confirmation email that had said it had been verified by someone called Lucy. She said that there wasn't anyone called Lucy working there and that she hadn't confirmed the treatment although when I came through the door they addressed me with my name. When booking the treatment there had been options for short or long hair with a price difference. My hair is down to my waist so I chose the long option. However when I got there she said instead of the £28 for long hair mine was extra long which the salon itself charges £35. However this was not communicated on Wahanda or at time of booking. Nevertheless I agreed to pay the additional £7 after my hair cut. When drying my hair after the wash the hairdresser didn't put anything around my neck so that my hair was dripping down my back and wasn't wrapped in a towel when I walked back to the chair. Whilst cutting my hair she didn't seem to be sectioning the hair correctly and did not shorten my layers evenly. Furthermore, whilst trimming my gradual side fringe it ended up being blocky. THEN, when it came to the blow dry I asked for a few soft waves but she said that this wasn't possible as she needed to dry it straight first to check if everything was even. This irritated me as the main reason I booked the hair treatment was because I had an event to go to that night and I wanted waves... I understand her thought process, however I have had haircuts my whole life and everytime I have asked for soft waves/ curls or whatever the hairdresser was more than happy to do so. The owner then said if I wanted to have waves she would have to charge me an extra £15. Whilst blow drying my hair she didn't put any heat protection spray in it and managed to burn me twice, the first time I let it slide but the second time I had to say something. The worst hairdressing experience i have ever had. No drink was offered to me, not even tap water. Needless to say I refused to pay the additional £7.
It wasn't the nicest venue but the waxing was ok. The therapist was kind to put me at my ease.
I had a 'luxury' pedicure but it was an hour shorter than they said and the therapist just used body scrub and lotion then painted my nails. Iicould have done that myself!
I had a very nice hair cut every time .thank you for the team and perfect and efficient job on my hair. I will recomand the salon to every one.thank you
Had a lovely lady do my highlights. She was really friendly and did it exactly how I asked. It looks so natural and I'm really pleased with the outcome. Will definitely be going back.
