The confirmation emails arrived from Wahanda only two days before the appointment, but a week after I booked. They did not inform me that I had to get a patch test but by pure luck I had phoned a few days earlier and the staff at De Veres notified me that I would need the patch test at least 48 hours before. When I went for the patch test I found there was no record of my booking so I had to rearrange for a different slot. Then I was informed that as there was no record of the booking they would need copies of my emails so they could verify that payment did not need to be taken a second time.
When I arrived at the facility the staff were polite and helpful but had still not found whether the Wahanda voucher could be accepted so I spent most of the treatment worrying that they would require £70 from me despite already paying when I booked online.
I arrived on time to find people complaining about their booking..not a great start. I was taken into a room half hour later for my treatment. No apology given for running late. The area itself has a nice feel to it clean and welcoming however it has got to be the noisest place I have ever been to. I went to relax and unwind instead I overheard conversations from everyone mostly people complaining. Staff didn't seem to worry about the noise levels , on a few occasions I had to laugh at the sheer level of the noise directly outside the room I was in. The treatment itself might have been more relaxing in a different environment. I would of wanted a full refund if I had paid full price. I don't think I will be returning.
