Loved the convenience of booking online and paying upfront. My stylist both listened and offered her own suggestions as to what would suit, and gave me a cut which ticked all the boxes. If ultra-sleek, overly clinical and so called glamorous salons are your thing, then Village Hair is probably not for you - however, if the bright lights and robotic chat of the high end, big-named salons leave you avoiding your next haircut until every day ends up a "hat day", then get yourself down there - give them a try. It is unpretentious, adaptable (i.e they listen to *your* needs and cater for *your* unique style) and it so down to earth that long-term hairdresser-aphobes like myself actually look forward to my next appointment. Perhaps it's because the salon doesn't have lots of trainees, all competing for floor space...? But it doesn't have that atmosphere that has always made me feel slightly uncomfortable (colleague back-stabbing disguised with a smile) - seriously... it's friendly, the prices are so, so reasonable, and most importantly, for that reasonable price... they. can. cut. hair. Guaranteed! Love 'em!
Fabulous place, great friendly staff.
First time at Village Hair and wasn't disappointed. Quirky and cute little location, really friendly staff, great cut and finish. Also got 6 mins on the sun bed!! I'll be back! Ta, Georgia
technically bad haircut (uneven sides, not blended, hair sticking out etc) also so much shorter than I had asked for
Lovely hairdresser Karl was really easy to talk to!
