Fabulous cut and blow dry! Booked super last minute ( which is essential for me, as I’m useless at forward-planning appointments) and was seen by Lohan. Straight in and thoroughly washed, cut and blow dried inside an hour ( another bonus, as can’t bear the faffing and hours in the chair that you get at some salons) The result? Super shiney hair in great style, that is still looking good almost a week later. The whole thing was finished with a spritz of channel hair perfum - a lovely touch. I’m resolved to to come to Lohan for weekly blow drys from now on ( if I can manage to forward plan them!) as it’s so fabulous to wake up to good-looking hair each morning.

This was the first time I had had a manicure and pedicure at Val Ritz and the lady did a really good job I was very happy with the treatment. Granted that she didn’t speak to me very much (could have been a language thing) but I found her friendly and will definitely be going back. Val is lovely and friendly her service is great.

I hate giving bad reviews, but was really unimpressed with this salon. I booked eyelash and eyebrow tinting, eyebrow threading and an express shellac manicure as part of a Treatwell deal. The salon was grubby, shabby and unclean, with wires everywhere and printed price lists etc sellotaped/blu-tacked to the wall. No ambiance and the radio kept cutting out the whole time I was there. Staff standing outside the shop smoking which looked unprofessional. Was told that I had not booked eyebrow and eyelash tint as I thought, but just eyebrow tint, although they did offer to do this for an additional price, which I turned down as I didn’t have time. Understand this was an error on the Treatwell website and not their mistake, but didn’t appreciate their rudeness. Eyebrow threading was fantastic and I am really happy with the shape, however I asked for LIGHT tint to be used, but the employee (who said he couldn’t speak much English) used dark brown/black, so I ended up looking like an angry bird! Staff just disinterestedly told me it would fade over time (I used an exfoliator to tone it down a shade as soon as I got home). Really happy with the shellac manicure – the beautician was very meticulous and love the colour. Will be interesting to see how long it lasts. Anyway, overall an okay-ish experience: was happy with threading and my nails, but wasn’t happy with the tint and received terrible service. Would not recommend and would not go back. Save your money and go elsewhere.
