Although the treatment was very affordable, I found staff to be slightly unfriendly & the manager unhelpful. With the manicure, staff could have been more attentive as I was left with little cuts around my cuticles.

The salon is most conveniently located and the service usually is average to good, depending on who happens to do your nails. This time, it was a young (new?) staff member who was tasked with my shellac mani and she did NOT do a great job. Her insistence to file the nails square, despite me repeatedly saying, please, a bit more round resulted in me returning just 6days later with 2 nails already losing the shellac, simply because the too square edges were caught one too many times.
Fair enough, these things happen. But even though I told the manager exactly what had happened and why I was returning to get a new "2week shellac" application after only 6days (and that was the manager of all the USAStarNails salons as he proudly announced), he did NOT offer to have someone redo the shellac manicure for free. Not even a discount in form of free removal was offered, let alone an apology. Repeatedly, he asked the name of the staff member. How am I supposed to know? They don't introduce themselves, in fact hardly any of his staff speak English!
The new mani and shellac application was much better, but like I said: it entirely depends on who does your nails on the day. Otherwise, you could be £25-30 out of pocket with literally nothing to show for.
