I had booked for a French manicure. I was advised that this would not last long (only a day or two before the white tips faded) so I would be better to get a shellac French manicure so that the white tips would last for up to 10 days. This was an additional cost but given the additional length of the manicure I though it would be worth it. Within 4 days the white tips have not only dulled they seem to have developed a blue tinge (this was visible from day 2). I would have been better getting the normal manicure and then paying to get another one when the fading started. This was not good value for money and I won't be using this service again.
If you do book here be warned that they cannot be trusted in terms of how long the polish/shellac will last.
This was a funny but quite bad experience. Firstly, when I stripped for my wax the beautician didn't leave the room to give me privacy. Then before she started she said "how high is your pain threshold" - not a good sign! The wax was too hot so she had to keep blowing it to try and cool it down, at one point it was so hot I jumped up. The wax itself was not thorough, with bits missed. When I left, the wax residue was not removed which meant I was left with wax down there until I got home. The wax was cheap but not a great experience, although it made for good story I will not be returning again!
