Unit One Combat Sports & Fitness is a gym specially designed for those involved in combat sports or training for sports performance. The gym also provides an exciting alternative training facility for those wanting to develop general health and fitness. Everyone is welcome to train at Unit One regardless of fitness level or previous experience. We are proud to be an “ego free” environment were everyone is encouraged to get the best out of their training and themselves.

The gym offers superb selection of olympic free weights, power racks, cable cross-over station, treadmill, rowing machine, spinning bike, kettlebells, powerbags, chinning bars, medicine balls, gym ropes, truck tyres, sledge hammers, weighted sled and many other alternative pieces of training equipment. This is an ideal gym for strength and conditioning training and Cross Fit / Caveman workouts. This area is available for use during all open hours.

The open area comprises of a large matted area, boxing ring, punchbags, speedball, Muay Thai pads, focus mits, gloves, matted grappling area and padded wall section. All timetabled classes are run in this area. When classes aren’t scheduled users can openly train in this area as they wish in addition to the gym. The open area provides the perfect training environment for those involved in Muay Thai, Boxing, Kickboxing, MMA and any other activity requiring a matted open space.

The chill out area allows gym visitors to sit, relax and enjoy complimentary tea and coffee drinks while observing the action. The gym also provides a free Wi Fi hotspot allowing you to use your internet devices.
