Definitely the best place for waxing! I have been getting Hollywood waxing done for around 7 years and have tried many places in London, many that I would not go back to!
Alison is great and very clearly experienced at her job.
My hair had become very long and for the first time, it was trimmed! When I have visited other salons and there is sometimes a note to trim hair that is over a certain length, I have often forgotten, and noticed that they did not trim it for me, which of course does not help with the pain...so, I was very surprised when after 7 years of waxing, someone finally did it for me!
I won't lie and say that the Hollywood wax was pain-free because it never will be, but Alison knew what to do to help ease the pain - applying pressure on the area after waxing (you'd be surprised at how many other places do not do this easy technique). Plucking is also included to remove any stray hairs.
Another thing with Hollywood waxing is that it is supposed to be EVERYTHING (back and front), but a few places I have been to do not understand this or think it's OK to do the 'back', from the front - by raising ones legs up - but this isn't efficient and it always annoys me when it is done this way. However, with Alison, the back is the back. You will get what you want with her.
Lastly, the main thing I wanted to mention, which, like the trimming of the hair, and has never ever been done to me either, is a decent attempt to remove wax residue! I also got my legs done (I often do both at the same time) so this was really appreciated. Many places I have been to do not really bother with this properly (more like a quick rub of a cream that covers about 5% of what has been waxed) and it really makes a difference.
I would absolutely recommend this and I will definitely be going back!! Also, in regards to a Hollywood wax, I have come to understand that you really do have to splash out a little to get a good service.
Alison is great and very knowledgeable (although missed one or two spots). She works quickly and is chatty but not in an uncomfortable way, and you can tell that she has done this a million times. The room is inside a hair salon so it might not be obvious at first!
The room is clean and so is the equipment. It was the first time I used hot wax but definitely not the last one! The offer was very good value but she also has a kind of 'member's card' (definitely worth getting and she'll give you one at the end of visit).
All in all, highly recommended!

Booked an appointment for a Hollywood wax, and chose the wrong date which was quickly ammended for free. Really impressed. The therapist was lovely, chatty without being too over the top. Treatment was effective and very thorough. Was a little put off by no paper cover on the pillow provided, but apart from that was really satisfied. Would definitely return!

Very professional, fiendly therapist. good waxing technique, good job. Would deg=finitely return and recommend to friends. SMall room through in back of hairdressers, but this didn't matter ot me. Will go agine
