I have been going to see Alison for a fair while now and I can't fault the waxing at all. I have a Hollywood, underarm and full arm wax. The Hollywood and underarm are hot wax and the arm wax is strip wax (still with hot wax).
The salon itself is within a vintage shop. If you are going from Paddington then the 27 bus from outside the station is your best bet (it also goes past Baker Street and Euston station). Alison is brilliant and very welcoming and does not make you feel at all awkward (I've had this before and it's not a nice feeling).
The waxing itself is pretty painless (I have had a strip wax Hollywood before and it was horrendous) and I have never had any bloody bits or soreness afterwards. Alison manages to whip all the hair off (front and back) within half an hour. Some therapists are not chatty at all but me and Alison are always chatting about something and I think this really helps.
Dappa is one of my two waxing places and I have no complaints about it at all. There is definitely no double dipping going on here at all and the price is very reasonable. Alison also does package deals, I have the Hollywood one but have been able to substitute one Hollywood for an arm and underarm wax.

The therapist was fantastic and the wax was almost painless. The only problem I had was the confusion of the actual salon - from outside it looks like a vintage charity shop !

Really great, lovely shop, friendly staff and nice result. As pain free as it possibly can be and little touches like a stress ball to hold really helped. An overall good experience, I will go back
