Very disappointed ... this is the only spa I’ve ever been to where you’re not allowed to enjoy a glass of fizz with friends whilst relaxing.
Absolutely awful. Dirty. Shabby. Steam room and sauna did not work. Towels tiny and thin. Lunch choice not as set on web. Fish cake was not haddock and was tiny, chips soggy, salad covered in dressing - not my choice.so disappointed as was a gift for my birthday. No ambiance + in fact no nothing. Will not return it was a waste of money.
We arrived at the Manor House about 10am to be greeted by a very nice young lady who booked us in. Because our treatments weren’t till 12 o’clock we ordered a coffee and was told to go and use the facilities. We got changed into our swimwear and sat in the conservatory waiting for our coffee. After 45 minutes we went to ask where our coffee was (thinking they’d forgotten) only to be told they were cleaning the machine! By this time the place was very busy and because of the shortage of chairs and loungers in the conservatory/swimming pool area, people were sat outside. Fortunately the weather was lovely but it it hadn’t been, I dread to think where everyone would have gone. After an hour and 20 minutes we were eventually served our coffee by a young man dressed in a tracksuit!
The treatments were ok although they were very rushed and I felt like we were on a conveyor belt, no time to lie and relax for a few minutes after my facial, straight out and the next person in.
Lunch was lovely, plenty of choice and freshly prepared.
All in all I don’t think I’ll return although I suppose you only get what you pay for.

2 of the 3 showers in the womens werent great, as one shower head was broken and the other shower the water did not come out properly. Also, the meals were slightly expensive, but tasted delicious. However, all of the other spa facilities, food, staff and treatments overruled that. I would definitely recommend and return. Thanks
