We had a lovely spa day at the Manor House on Saturday. It was extremely good value for money and the 3 in our party all enjoyed their treatments. The food was excellent and the staff couldn't do enough. The changing and corridors are a bit tired but they were clean and I really can't complain. If you're after a Seaham Hall type experience, this isn't the place for you but we had a fab day.

The hotel reception staff and restaurant staff were friendly and efficient. The stables bar was less welcoming with no staff present to serve us. The cutlery needed to be cleaned better. The room was comfortable and it was good value.

Enjoyable stay at the manor house, old style hotel. Excellent value the treatments were lovely. The spa is quite small and the steam room could do with some essential oils to make it smell nice. Our experience was slightly hampered by a group of rather loud women so not so relaxing, no fault of the hotel however. Restaurant area is nice with views out to the gardens and breakfast was adequate.

My friend and I had a lovely day at the spa. The two course meal was excellent and the staff were friendly. All in all, it was great value for money and the massage just what the doctor ordered!
