Our visit never took place as the company totally messed me about. Promised me a date with my groupon voucher. After several days of organising the experience I booked the treatments, they then said they didn’t have any rooms unless I paid an additional amount of £60 each to upgraded the package. I had been organising this as a treat for my daughter and had spent several days putting the experience together including checking what was available on the dates I required. This included the deal with 2 treatments over night stay and evening meal. I spoke to Racheal several times re my request and was very clear what I wanted and they informed the room and treatments were available. Then to be told no rooms unless you up grade once I had booked the treatments. Racheal were very rude and totally un helpful. I ask to cancel the treatments as without an overnight stay it simple would not work out as we had to travel to the hotel and the treatments were late in the evening..
They would not cancel my treatments and would not offer a solution. I felt I had been ripped off by this company. The manager who I spoke to (Racheal) is very unprofessional rude and Only offered my a room with an additional £120 upgrade after I had spoken to her several times re my request she also promised to ring me back but never did I had to ring again to try and get a solution which she had not even acted upon when I rang back even though she had promised she would. So I would not recommend this hotel.
I came with my daughter and we had both booked in for two 25 minute treatments. The spa was fairly quiet so there was a good choice of seating areas. The treatments were lovely and we were pleased with the spa facilities. Unfortunately we felt let down with our lunch. Last time we came we were taken to the restaurant. This time we walked over to the restaurant only to find it was still set up for breakfast even though it was 12.00 noon. We started to walk around of what seemed an empty hotel to find the bar was serving lunch. By this time, everyone else were arriving and the bar area was quite full with people from the spar. The service was slow as there was only one person serving and we found that the menu was quite expensive. I ordered a hot baguette with salad and found the pork grisly and the baguette was a soft roll and quite doughy, dressed with limp lettuce I wasn’t impressed at £9. While we were in the bar eating lunch there were also guests from the hotel walking through the area with dogs. Certainly not what I expected. Please go back to using the restaurant for your spa guests .
