My visit to the Spa had been booked for me as a gift. I had not heard of The Spa at the Manor House Hotel, but on arriving I was struck by how peaceful and attractive the hotel is. Hotel personnel could not have been more friendly or helpful in directing me to where I needed to be and once in the Spa I again found staff helpful, friendly and attentive. While the Spa is small the facilities are good. I was seen at the appointed time for my chosen treatments and the therapist was friendly and professional, making sure that the treatments were tailored to my needs. I enjoyed a lovely lunch in the Restaurant and appreciated the calm atmosphere and the fact that I was not put under any pressure to curtail my stay by leaving early. Thank you for a lovely relaxing and pampering experience
The spa was very small compared to other venues I've been to and was not luxurious in any way. The sauna and steam room were very cramped. Nice sunbed area looking over pretty court yard but not that many spaces. The changing room was dismal and put us off before we even went in.
The staff were lovely though. This is not a place you could spend a full day.
We arrived to the Manor House Hotel, we found the grounds lovely to walk through and/or sit outside.
The staff were really helpful and pleasant, we were giving a towel and robe, advised of the amenities etc. The Spa facilities were very good although some parts looked a tad tired and a kick of paint would do it. We had our lunch, both looked great and tasted amazing.
We had 2 treatments and loved them both, the girls were really lovely and really pleasant.
The package I had was great value for money and would definitely recommend a visit to anyone looking for a lovely relaxed, pampered day.
