I'll save you from reading this rant by just starting with: avoid this place it's just terrible! I gave one star for staff due to one member if staff, shelly, who was a lovely informative person who frankly knew more than the other 7. We arrived, chaeked in, rooms were dirty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while, from here we went to the spa and were met by a staff member who was either having and day or just couldent be bothered, from this still encouraged we went for our treatments after pretending not to notice the holes in the wall and ceiling, my partner really enjoyed her massage and facial and it's not really my thing so no comment there. From here we went to lunch and this is where it becomes a joke. We started by waiting 10 minutes to make a drink order, 30 minutes later after being ignored by two members of staff I ensured I was heard and they had to come over, asking them once again for our drinks another 10 minute went by before they appeared, notice I haven't mentioned food yet..... this is because we ordered at the same time of the drink and after the drinks arrived so did the starter, and then fast forward 45 minutes and mains turn up, one was sent back, the general manager agreed it tasted basic, and it just got worse from here.
The staff here have the idea that if you interrupt the customer when they are speaking to explain some very basic information like what you ordered or asked for that this will somehow answer all your questions or concerns and they then get confused when said customer gets a little testy and politely reminds them that if they interrupt me again the conversation will be a little more direct, to which they do so! Save your money and time and money and go else where. Truly terrible.
Our trip to the Manor House Hotel Spa was brilliant, we went as a party of 4 as a Mother’s Day treat and were very pleased with the service and treatments, the back neck and shoulder massage was amazing and I would highly recommend it! The only thing I wish they had more of was loungers as it was quite busy when we were there, however this didn’t spoil our day and will definitely be going back soon.

The staff were friendly and welcoming and the treatments were really good but the treatment room was cold, the steam room wasn’t working and the pool was freezing so we didn’t get to use the jacuzzi because it was full. The whole spa looked neglected
The spa was run down and in bad repair. Swimming pool was freezing cold and the steam room wasn’t working properly. The roof was almost falling in with damp and the decor on the whole was shoddy. That said, the staff were excellent and the treatments they provided were first class.
The only thing that was disappointing was the fact that the steam room wasn’t working but there was no notice or an offer to have a free treatment instead like other places do
